This is so cool! The middle school students are creating radial designs- a great way to incorporate math and using a compass.  Pat decided to create this black and white "checkerboard inspired" design, and to then pin the center of it to a board so that it can be spun.  I took a photo of it still, then one of it as it spun around...... amazing!!!

Mural Painting Club

Our first floor mural is well underway.  We all had different ideas to add to the mural, so as a unifying theme we decided to paint the seasons.  Our first section was the Spring, then the Fall, and we are now working on a Winter scene.  We saved the best for last- Summer!  We will get started on this section next week.

 

 

UPDATE! Here are a couple of shots of our "summer" scene.  Now we are moving up to the third floor and creating an underwater mural!
